Together, we will form a strong industrial group for the space industry!
ONE3D Group a.s. and QPAG s.r.o. are acquiring a stake in Spacemanic CZ s.r.o., a leading European developer of nanosatellites and space technologies. This strategic alliance brings together technologically advanced entities and creates a unique industrial entity capable of delivering comprehensive solutions for the space sector.
“The merger with Spacemanic fulfills our vision of our own products and large satellite constellations. We want to combine our know-how in advanced manufacturing technologies with trends in the field of smaller satellites. Our merger has also been confirmed by a joint deployer project, thanks to which we will gain a complete product portfolio for launching satellites into orbit within the group,” says David Kadlčík, member of the ONE3D Group board of directors.
“Our goal is to build a strong European group capable of delivering complete solutions in the field of nanosatellites and propulsion systems, as well as in the field of high-precision quality control and industrial automation, which is key to the production and testing of these technologies. This project will allow us to leverage our strengths in advanced control and measurement technologies to support expansion into global markets while also fulfilling European strategic goals in the areas of autonomy and technological sovereignty,” adds Tomáš Pavlík, owner of the QPAG group.
The newly formed group aims to build a self-sufficient ecosystem for the development and production of space technologies. The combined capacities will enable the development of both customer nanosatellites and standardized platforms, as well as specific components and subsystems such as propulsion units, structures, electronics, and related services.
What does it mean for us at Spacemanic and our customers?
Spacemanic has several successfully completed satellite missions under its belt and is an active partner in international projects. The company specializes in the design, manufacture, and integration of nanosatellites, including their launch into orbit and operation. Thanks to the new partnership with ONE3D Group and QPAG, it gains access to state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, faster innovation cycles, and better infrastructure for growth.
“This merger is a natural step for us towards further professionalization and expansion into international markets,” says Jakub Kapuš, founder and CEO of Spacemanic CZ. “Our new partners bring not only a stable technological base, but above all a shared vision of how to connect research, development, and manufacturing into a single functional and competitive entity within Europe. Together, we want to make access to space faster, more affordable, and accessible to a wide range of customers thanks to our modular satellite platform.“
The partnership
This merger comes at a time when the European space sector is experiencing significant growth. The market for nanosatellites and microsatellites exceeded $4 billion in 2024 and, according to analysts’ estimates, is expected to reach $16 billion by 2030. The European segment is growing at a rate of more than 20% per year and is expected to play a key role in defense, telecommunications, and environmental projects in the future.
At the same time, Europe is seeking to strengthen its strategic autonomy in the field of space technology. It is in this dynamic area that the ONE3D–QPAG–Spacemanic group finds its place. Vertical integration, from development through production to operational support, enables the group to respond quickly to changing market needs and technological trends.
The main advantages of the new industrial group include the ability to develop turnkey satellite solutions, shorter production cycles thanks to additive technologies, a higher degree of production localization, and the ability to conduct operational testing. From the customer’s point of view, this means a significant increase in reliability and a reduction in time to market. The company also plans to actively participate in European public tenders and EU and ESA framework programs.
The new group not only reflects current trends in the space market, but also actively shapes them. The merger of three specialized companies creates a comprehensive player capable of competing with global names while fulfilling European strategic goals in the areas of security, autonomy, and technological sovereignty.
