CORVUS-IOV
The CORVUS platform enables a new generation of nanosatellite missions requiring higher reliability, flexibility, and the ability to operate complex payloads in orbit. It represents a shift from short-term technology demonstrations to fully operational space missions.
Developed by Spacemanic, CORVUS is a modular platform supporting configurations from 2U to 16U, built on standardized interfaces and flight-proven subsystems. It is designed to handle multiple payloads simultaneously, enabling applications in Earth observation, communications, and space domain awareness.
The project is supported by the European Space Agency (ESA) under the ARTES PIONEER programme, introducing advanced engineering and verification standards into the CubeSat domain.
The demonstration mission of CORVUS will be equipped with a Optical payload and in-house developed Software Defined Radio (SDR). The mission shall demonstrate the platform’s capabilities to manage high data rates, onboard processing, and multi-payload operations.
